Get involved
AEI is a volunteer-run nonprofit at the very beginning of its work. If you believe in broader access to knowledge and educational opportunity, there are real ways to help.
Volunteer
We're a small team and there's a lot of ground to cover. Skilled volunteers — even a few hours here and there — make a real difference at this stage.
We're not able to promise a formal role or structured program today, but if you reach out with what you do and how you'd like to help, we'll be honest about whether there's a fit.
Areas we could use help with:
We're early. We can't always predict exactly what we need two weeks from now. If you have a skill that feels relevant and you're willing to be flexible, that's the right fit for where we are.
Partner
If your organization works with learners, communities, or public education efforts, we'd love to talk about how we can be useful to each other.
We keep it practical — no elaborate MOU required to start a conversation. If there's a fit, we'll figure it out.
Partner types we're interested in:
Mostly: sharing resources with the people you serve, helping us understand what educational barriers communities actually face, or collaborating on ways to widen access to useful learning materials. We're listening more than pitching right now.
